At the PABF Special Board Meeting held January 15, 2026, the Board determined the sufficiency of the nominating petitions for 2 candidates running for the Annuitant Trustee position to fill the remaining term ending November 30, 2027. The Board also approved the order in which the candidates will appear on the ballot, based on when each submitted their respective nominating petitions, in accordance with the election rules.

The biographies will also be included on the Independent Election Administrator’s secure election website when voting commences on January 29, 2026.
The Special Election is scheduled to be held from Thursday, January 29, 2026, through Monday, February 9, 2026, 11:59 PM CST. A timeline for the Special Election can be found at the following link: PABF 2026 Annuitant Trustee Special Election Timeline.
DELIVERY OF VOTING INSTRUCTIONS AND CREDENTIALS VIA EMAIL AND USPS
The voting credentials and instructions on how to access the secure election website and phone number will be mailed via USPS to eligible annuitant voters approximately 1 week before voting commences. The voting credentials and instructions on how to access the secure election website and phone number will also be emailed throughout the day on Thursday, January 29, 2026 to annuitant members who have a valid email on record with the Fund.
