Voting for the 2026 Annuitant Trustee Special Election begins January 29, 2026 and runs through Monday, February 9, 2026, 11:59 PM CST.
Annuitant Members who are eligible to vote should be receiving a hard copy letter delivered by the USPS to their physical mailing address on file with the Fund. That letter contains the individual voting credentials for each eligible voter as well as instructions on how to access the Independent Election Administrator’s secure voting website or secure voting telephone number.
The candidates are:
The biography submitted by each candidate can be found by clicking on their names above.
The biographies will also be included on the Independent Election Administrator’s secure election website when voting commences on January 29, 2026.
The voting credentials and instructions on how to access the secure election website and phone number will also be emailed throughout the day on Thursday, January 29, 2026 to Annuitant Members who have a valid email on record with the Fund.
PLEASE CHECK YOUR SPAM OR JUNK FOLDER IF YOU DO NOT SEE AN EMAIL FROM noreply@directvote.net IN YOUR EMAIL INBOX BY THE END OF THE DAY JANUARY 29, 2026.
If Annuitant Members have the knowledge to do so, we encourage them to add noreply@directvote.net as an approved sender.
Neither the Independent Election Administrator nor the Fund controls, or is responsible for, what emails are directed to a Member’s spam or junk folder. Each individual Email Service Provider such as “gmail”, “yahoo”, “sbcglobal”, etc. determines that, and certain Email Service Providers are more stringent than others with regards to treating an email as spam.
The email from the Independent Election Administrator will be sent in batches during the day on January 29, 2026, so not every member will receive the email at the same time or at the start of the day. Therefore, we encourage Annuitant Members to have patience on that first day and not contact the Fund until Friday, January 30, 2026 if they have not received the physical letter from the Independent Election Administrator delivered to their physical address, or an email from noreply@direct vote.net even after checking their spam or junk folders.
Members may contact the Fund by email at info@chipabf.org or via phone at 312-744-3891.
Please continue to monitor the Fund’s website for additional information regarding the Special Election as it becomes available.
