2026 Special Trustee Election Results

Thank you to all members who voted in the  2026 Special Election for the Office of Annuitant Member Trustee for the residual term that expires November 30, 2027.

The election took place from January 29, 2026 thru February 9, 2026.  Per the independent election firm that administered the election, the results are as follows:

-Saul Del Rivero:  2,400 votes

-Eugene J. Roy:    2,152 votes

Saul Del Rivero received a majority (52.7%) of the votes.

Per the election rules, Any person wishing to contest the results of an election may do so by providing an affidavit to the Fund’s office signed by the person or persons contesting any election and setting out the reasons why the declared result was inaccurate. The affidavit must be received within two (2) days after the result of the canvass has been given the candidate(s).  For this particular election, the 2 day period to submit an affidavit ends at 4:30PM on Tuesday, February 17, 2026.

Once any affidavits contesting the results of the election are addressed, or the 2-day period noted above ends with no affidavits received, the results of the election will be final
