ANNUITANT 2026 SPECIAL ELECTION NOTICE: EMAIL ADDRESSES FOR RECEIVING VOTING INSTRUCTIONS

Email notifications for the ANNUITANT SPECIAL ELECTION were sent within the past week to the email addresses PABF has on record.  If you believe that you did not receive an email notification, please check your spam / junk folder for this email from elections@chipabf.org.

The email sent was not the ballot.  The email was only informing that an election will be held, for Annuitants only, to elect an Annuitant Trustee for the remainder of the term set to expire on November 30, 2027.

If you did not receive the notification email that a special election is about to be held, even after checking your spam/junk folder, you have until 4:30 pm on Monday, January 26, 2026 to update your email address with the Fund. To update your email address, an “Email_Authorization” form must be completed and emailed to info@chipabf.org.  As noted on the form, the “Email_Authorization” must be returned with a copy of a valid government-issued photo ID (e.g., driver’s license).  The “Email_Authorization” form can be found on the “FORMS” page found under “HELPFUL CONTENT” on the Fund’s website, or accessed via the following link.  Please make sure that any information you provide on the form is legible, since the inability for the Fund to read information can prevent the proper updating of records.

Throughout the day on Thursday, January 29, 2026, Annuitants should receive an email from the Independent Election Administrator (email address: PABF Election Coordinator: noreply@directvote.net).  That email will contain voting instructions and credentials.   If you do not receive that email in your inbox or spam/junk folder by the end of the day on Thursday, January 29, 2026, please contact info@chipabf.org beginning Friday, January 30, 2026.  In addition to the email, Annuitants will be mailed (via USPS) the same voting instructions and credentials to their physical mailing address on file with the Fund to ensure that every annuitant has a chance to vote in this special election.

The voting instructions and credentials will inform eligible voters how to cast a vote through the Independent Election Administrator’s secure website, or by telephone, beginning on Thursday, January 29, 2026.

Voting for the special election does not begin until Thursday, January 29, 2026 and runs through Monday, February 9, 2026 at 11:59pm Central Standard Time.
